Skincare is one of those things that some constantly dabble with! Like make up there are so many products out there for us to try and i guarantee one person will never try them all, however now and then a product comes a long that can tick all the boxes!
I was lucky enough to receive three items to trial from PHB Ethical who are a family run beauty company. Their range of products consists of skincare, hair care and make up all created with organic and natural ingredients and every product is hand crafted in the UK. What i love about the brand for starts is that they are registered with The Vegan Society UK which guarantees their products contain no animal ingredients, no alcohol and are definitely not tested on animals yay!
First out of the three products is their Olive Kernel & White Tea exfoliator for sensitive skin...
Apart from the obvious ingredients in the title this exfoliator also contains Aloe Vera and a high natural Vitamin A content. What i love about this exfoliator is that it's not as hard as some of the drugstore brands i've tried it's nice and gentle on the skin and leaves your face feeling refreshed afterwards. The product itself smells fresh and you can definitely smell the white tea! The gentle exfoliator is priced at £12.50 which is an affordable price when comparing to other ethical branded products. You can read more about this product and buy here.
Next up is a cosmetic love of mine. There's nothing better than relaxing with a face mask on after a long day or on a Sunday night ready for the week ahead. I've started making a bit more of an effort with my skin and try sit down at least twice a week and this beauty has made it into one of those nights for the past fortnight.
PHB have three face masks in their range and i picked out the Chamomile and White Tea Purifying face mask because i love products containing chamomile. It also contains Cocoa Butter and Aloe Vera that leaves your skin feeling soft and Kaolin Clay that gives you the face mask consistency that dries. It also has a high natural Vitamin E product which if you're not aware is an antioxidant that protects and repairs your skin. The face mask if priced at £16.75 for a 100ml tub!
Lastly is the Awaken & Revive Brightening Moisturiser with Argan, Orange & Vitamin C. Now when it comes to moisturiser i always stick with what i know however part of the new me this year is breaking those comforts and trying new things and this applies to my skincare too!
Firstly this product smells amazing! The mix of orange and lemon is so refreshing on the skin and the vitamins in the Argan oil leaves your skin with a glow. Consistency wise this is a lot thicker than the moisturiser i usually use but it depends one what you're used to! Reasonably priced at £15.85 this little pot has become a permanent fixture on my dressing table.
Overall i love organic ethical brands and i'm so pleased to have been introduced to PHB Ethical Beauty. It's nice to see a brand that has got every aspect of cosmetics covered and doesn't just specialise in one area.
