Yesterday i attended the Neals Yard Remedies event held in their Solihull store! The lovely ladies from the brand were inviting bloggers to learn more about the brand and educate us in the world of organic skincare and cosmetics!
Me and Emma from Average Your Not decided to make a day of it as it was about an hours journey for both of us so we decided to get there a few hours early, get some lunch, do some shopping and then attend the event. Solihull didn't have much to offer in the way of shopping however even though their shopping centre was huge there wasn't much actually in the stores so it wasn't a big shopping trip like i expected but we did go to Lush and picked up quite a few things!
The event started at 6PM and we were greeted with drinks. The store itself was small but seemed to accommodate everyone nicely. Myself and Emma got chatting to Jane who is the Social Media Manager for the brand first. She was lovely to talk to and we got onto discussing Satnav holders for push bikes??
We were then introduced to Molly the Regional Manager and the Solihull store manager who spoke to us a bit more about where the products came from, how they were made and the importance of why Neal's Yard Remedies is what it is! The lovely store manager (i wish i could remember her name) encouraged us to try the products and talked to us more about their organic cosmetics line.
Head of PR Nicola then gave the whole party a chat about the company, how it started and how they are different to other brands on the market! The chat was educating for me as i am not a big organic lover as i like Nicola pointed out am worried about how my skin will react!

After the chat myself and Emma received hand and arm massages which were amazing! I had mine with formula from their new 'Bee Lovely' range which is to die for! Sweet like honey but with a fruity scent to it which is my two favourite smells!
The lovely Emma!
We then went around the store trying and testing products, speaking to the staff who were more than helpful and willing to talk to us about the products. One thing i found great about Neal's Yard is how versatile the products are!
These candles were to die for! The Energising one smelt like Christmas!
Overall the event was lovely! I really did learn a lot more about organic skin care. If you haven't tried Neal's Yard Remedies why not pick up Marie Claire and try out the Bee Lovely hand cream it comes with this month!
Thank you so much Neal's Yard for inviting me to the event!
